Just...say...NO!!!

Why is it so hard? Why? When the office triathlete - excuse me, Iron Man competitor - comes by with a box of doughnuts that I know he wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole - why is it that just as the words, "That's really nice, but no, thanks anyway," start to pass my lips, my traitorous arm is reaching out and I find myself saying, instead, "Oooh, I really shouldn't, but..."

But.

Of course, I did.

And now I'm 500 calories fuller than I was before the chocolate-covered cream-filled goodies came by. (Why did it have to be my favorite kind?)

Sigh.

So true, so true! We always have goodies at work and I just can't say NO! Why is that? It's not like they'd be offended and if they looked at me, they'd know I didn't NEED it!

I am very glad not to be in that situation anymore! The teacher's lounge used to always have something out for people to grab, and honestly I have terrible self control! Although, it seems now I have a cupboard at my disposal! Just stay out of the kitchen is my new motto.

Aha, but at least you have (some) control of what ends up in the cupboard! :)

Thanks for stopping my blog. I really enjoyed taking the time to nurse Amanda, but I'm having a hard time sticking to it this time around. I just hope I can keep it up until the baby's born and then it should get much easier!

you are not alone...i can never say no to sweet treats. yummy doughnuts sound very good right about now!

thank you for stopping by my blog and for the nice comments. i will definitely get caught up reading your blog-looks like you have a lot of toddler fun!

to answer your question about the dress and where i shop. that particular dress was made my molly o designs, sadly molly isn't selling clothing anymore. the other dress you commented on was from the gap. i get the girls clothes at the gap, children's place, old navy, mini boden and gymboree. it's my hobby =), but i always shop sales and usually resell their clothes on ebay. that helps keep the cost down. if you ever have any questions about sales, etc. feel free to ask!

thanks again for stopping by and also giving me a new blog to read!

Oh boy...sounds like me! My week plan is terribly derailed! Thanks so much, though, for the encouragement you left. I will take that and apply it to next week's plan! LOL.
